Ok, after I made all those comments I went to go out to my scrap table. Just so you guys don't think I have been doing nothing, figured I would post these. Simple, but at least I have been a little create. I have been having fun doing cards, I need to get better with scrapbooking and our layouts on here. Going to work on my layout from last week now. :)

If you will look in my last post Challenge # 16 ... This is the way I used to Journal... Had my calander out and noted down everything our little beauty did... Just so fun to look back and enjoy!

Here's another one
Here's another scraplifted layout. The bears are from myscrapchick and the layout design is from a seller on ebay.
These last 2 layouts are using the Flower Shower Spring stack that is on clearance at J's for $8.97. Renee and I have the same stack so we can scrap using the same paper. She clued me in on this stack being on clearance. 4 stacks later and a few other "oh I just have to have this", I left J's. I also found out they had Debbie Mum on 70% off clearance with all the accessories to match the stacks.....NOT GOOD.
Enjoy and have a great week.....I'm off to start another layout. Hey Renee.....which one are we doing?

Here's what I've been up to lately
Please pardon the blurry pictures....but I think you get the idea. I've been challenging Renee to do some of the layouts that I have wanted to do for quite some time. She's been a very good partner in helping me get them done.
The ladybug layout is totally scraplifted but since it's for my own personal use, it's ok per the creator (and I actually had the exact paper). This picnic basket on there is NOT store bought but cut with a SCAL pattern and hand woven to look like that (you learn a new language making it!!). It's still in need of the perfect ribbon but my husband didn't think I really needed to go to the store last night so it's ribbonless until I get to J's or M's.
The bee layout is mostly scraplifted with my own twist to it. The green thing with the flowers on it coming up from the one photo mat is a journal box that pulls out.
The spring layout is a scraplifted fall layout. I can post the original layout Renee and I started with but my challenge was to turn it into a spring layout instead of fall.
The single layout is just me playing around with new paper. It still needs a title but it's going to be Lazy Days, I can't pick a font to use.

Challenged!
Ok, Wendy challenged me to make a layout (although I didn't come anywhere close to her deadline) and this page meets a couple other challenges. It was inspired by Challenge #2 with the toy. I used a new tool, the Crop-a-Dile Big Bite to put that brad on the center of the ribbon and I used chalk pencils that I've never used before. It doesn't have a tree on it, but it does have leaves :)
With that said, now I'm going to tear it apart because I think the background is too plain. I haven't finished the facing page yet, but here's what I've started.

Good Morning Ladies!!
How is everyone doing? Natasha, can you breathe this week, how did your finals go? Diana...how is your family doing? Miss Renee, I really really missed you yesterday. I got my computer moved to my new room with sound and video and you weren't on!! How can I possibly scrap that way? Mistie....you even disappeared. You would think that you guys all have lives, of all the nerve!!
Ok.....we're going to get back on track. We're going to call the 8th the first Sunday of the month so that's makes this week Diana's week to post a challenge. Diana, if you're not up for it....I have a fill in challenge and you can take my week later in the month, just let me know.
My regular camera is in CT and I'm having issues locating a camera (although I know there are at least 3 in this house right now). I'd like to post what I've been working on because I think they are really cute.
Let's hear from you ladies!!

I've added a gadget to the left hand site for a wonderful website that sells SCAL files. Her files are just wonderful and very user friendly to make.
Check out what she has to offer and her the buyers showcase with wonderful ideas. This was a wonderful find while I was in CT!!

Tree challenge completed?
Do tree limbs count as trees? This is not my original tree page, but does it work? Having my inspiration up close and personal definitely helps! This one stays at Mistie's house.
