Let me know if you received them all.....this is the batch of files when we were out on Treasure Box Designs.  I tried to watch the file size when sending them.  They are all zip files so you'll need to extract them.

Good Morning and Challenge #15

Ok, so maybe I'm a day late....but I sure do have a clean scrap room.  I can't wait to get my computers and my cricut in there.  The delay is.....because I'm not ready to give up any more desk space, my husband needs to install a shelf on the wall above my desk for my monitors to sit on (I use 3 of them) and then I can fully move into the room.  Until them, I'm staying right where I am and all my stuff will be in the other room.

Ok, now for challenge #15 - LET'S GET CAUGHT UP (LGCU).....I know I'm 3 challenges behind so I think this week would be best spent catching up just a bit.  I have a couple of Dr's appts this week and then this weekend I'm in CT, WOOOHOOOOO....but I'll have Mistie help me get caught up.

New to Me Technique

 

Ok girls, Here is my New to Me technique. Using whatever stamp you want, stamp it on the VersaMark stamp pad. Stamp that clear image on your paper. Fill a cotton ball with chalk. Take the cotton ball with chalk and "dab" it onto the image you stamped with VersaMark .. Your image should pop out your paper. Do not rub the chalk on the paper.. just dab.... the chalk will smear if rubbed. Then brush or blow on the image to remove the extra chalk. Thanks Melanie S for this new to me technique.

New Technique! Challenge!

This week's challenge is to find, try and show a new technique!
You don't have to make a video but please post pictures or post the link on this blog. It could be something you have come up with or one you found! Maybe it is just a "thing" that makes the page move along for you.

I'm still thinking about the tree challenge... just like everyone else, I got busy! Spring is here and it is hard for me to stay inside!

Challenge #11 completed!! (Found the camera!!)

Here you go ladies.  I do have to say, my own challenge challenged me!!  It has been done but I lost my camera and couldn't take a picture.  The background is turquoise bazzill paper, the photo mat is purple, the trim around the photo and across the bottom is from my stash!!  I need to fix the glue behind the  words, I can see it in the pic but it doesn't look as bad in person!!

Challenge (sorry I'm late)

Ok, guess I'm supposed to post the challenge for this week so here's what I came up with. I love how all the trees are blooming this time of year so I thought it appropriate to do a "tree challenge".
You can make a card or layout any size.
You must have a tree: can be in the pic, a cut, stamp etc... as long as there is a tree....

Good Morning!!

Well ladies, I took the entire weekend off from EVERYTHING.  I went to Pittsburgh and sat around with my feet propped up, read some books and just enjoyed the sunshine and visiting my husband's family.  I didn't get caught up on anything my relaxing and just enjoying time off.

Natasha....how did the wedding go?  Are you ready to post a challenge or should we just have the week off and get back on track next week?

Happy Saturday

Hello Ladies. Had fun at my crop today. Did not get as much done as I wanted to, but do we ever. I did my two challenges and made a b-day card for my MIL. I gave her the address here so I don't know if I should post the card or not! ;) But I used Create a Critter. Natasha, it is so easy to use. The hardest part if figuring out which color to make the layers.

So here are my two challenges. My Teal/Purple/White uses Straight from the nest for the grow and Nursery Rhymes for Bo Beep[. I just thought she was cute.


And because I have been so into card making lately, I made cards for my Aunt and Mother with the colors in Kenzie's nightgown. The owl is from Straight from the nest. I used a hostess stamp set from SU and punched it out with a SU punch (can't remeber the name). Inked and the brown ribbon is MS. The paper is SU also.






I hope everyone is having a good Saturday. I bet Natasha is. Can't wait to hear how everything went. Renee are you feeling any better today? Wendy I hope issues are ok with you also. Later ladies.

Happy Friday ladies. Looking forward to working on my two challenges this weekend. I promise they will get done because I have a crop tomorrow. :)

Love the new download for today. But that blue bird, he is absolutely adorable. I may have to get him. :)

So we have not talked about Hello Thursday's at all. I know some of us are SCAL people! ;) But has anyone gotten any of the new carts? I got Create a Critter and Nursery Rhymes and am looking foward to playing with them this weekend. But another website (forgot right now) is having a sale on all carts this weekend for $30. I think I may have to get Just Because Cards and Preserves. I hope the new releases next week don't make me drool. :)

Challenge 12

Happy Easter Ladies. Finally had a chance to get this posted. I am glad the holidays are over so I can rest for a bit. So much to do. :)

Well I have wanted to use this as a challenge for a while. My mother had gotten this for my daughter and I thought the colors went so well together. And I think owls seem to be big now and I wanted to try and cut one.

Make anything you want using K's nightgown, card or layout. Enjoy and have fun.

I will probably be doing this one and last week's next week.

The baskets are filled and placed...the eggs all colored (oh yes, I got some great pics and will be scrapping them soon)....and they are hidden.

ISSUE WITH THE BLOG

I've changed the background on the blog because it seems that the site I was using for it had issues with staying online.  I've switched it back to one of the templates with blogspot.  I will be in search of a new background that better suits us but until then, the calm harbor background will be in place.
