Where is everyone, are we lost again? I know Renee is away but a bit but Natasha and Diana, WHERE ARE YOU and what are you up to?
I just came across a great deal from Stampin Up if anyone likes their products. If you check out their clearance rack, some of the items are 60% off. There are stamp pads, markers, reinkers, paper and many embellishments. I just order 8 stamp pads, 6 reinkers for those pads, 2 packs of markers 3 packs of paper, lots of ribbon to match my ink pads and the list continues. Because I put my stampin up demo's name in, I received an add'l 10% off. That was about the price of my very inexpensive shipping and tax. I'm thrilled!! I got a total of 19 items for $50.00 including shipping. Total retail should have been well over $150.00!!
Just thought I would give you a heads up. Talk to you all soon

Challenge #?? I've lost count!!
Ok ladies...although I've gotten NOTHING done scrapwise I did find a fantastic site that has some great ideas. They are featuring Halloween tags right now and I came up with a great idea....my challenge to you is to make a Christmas tag using at least 2 of the techniques used on the attached link.
And Renee....I don't want to hear that you don't have any of that stuff.....the rest of the challenge is that you may NOT go out and buy any of the items used but must improvise and use things you have on hand. I thought this would get us one step ahead for Christmas!!
Here is something I was playing with AFTER I went through those websites!! It's not Christmas so it's not my complete challenge!!

Ok, so maybe I'm a bit behind but........
Here you go...this is Diana's challenge with Natasha's add on!! I'm just learning on the cards so bear with me!

Challenge #21 Fall Harvest Full Page Layout
My Challenge for each of you is to make a full page layout and using your My Cha llenge for each of you is to make a full page layout and using your cricut ... cut at least three characters to go on this layout. Use three other embellishments. Ribbon/brads/buttons/chip board/metal.. Use three pictures on this page and matt the pics in three different colors. You can make this a double page layout. Let's get caught up girls!
Layout using the old Cricut and Metal
Had to "dust" the old Cricut off for a recent Scrap event.
Metal is on the lighthouse. Was a beautiful day!
Crisis....
Hey all...have to make this very very quick. A windstorm has our internet all messed up! I get about 45 seconds of internet before it dies again.....
I need to wait until I get better internet to upload a pic!

DIANA......this is your week!!
Ok Diana....fire away!! We're ready for your post AND your challenge!!
Challenge #19 ALMOST completed
I wanted to show you guys I really am working on my challenge but my work has officially gotten in the way. We just picked up a big client and it needs to come first. That and with it being a quarterly tax month, my time is a bit limited right now.
I still have a bit more work to do on this layout but I'm happy with where it is going. I want to cut some more pumpkins for in the wagon as well as in the one field. I have some chalking to do on my cornfields, I also want to cut some corn stalks (but haven't made the cut file yet) to put behind the sitting bear. The bear on the tractor is calling for a cowboy hat too.....4 sale will also go on the 2nd page. All the cut files are my own creation. I still need to do the tractor tire centers too!!
With all that being said....here is a preview:

Hello Everyone!!
Are we ready to get back up and running after our summer? I've stopped receiving emails so I don't know when anyone posts, I'm hoping that changes. If everyone could post so I can find out who's posts I get emails on and who I don't I would appreciate it.
Our challenge this week is to post what we have been up to this summer and share what we have been working one.
I'd love to hear from everyone!!

Are we back?
The site is back up! It was down for a while. Must have been because we are all busy with summer. :)
How is everyone doing? We are moved and in the new house now. DS lead levels are coming down nicely. DD started pre-school and loves it. I talked to the teacher, they do a letter a week. I am going to start making letters and cut outs for each week for her class. This will make me get my cricut out even before the new scraproom is up and functioning. My E needs some attention. She has been neglected lately. :)
So where is everyone?

What I've been up to...
Here is what I've been doing when I get scrappy time...which has been very little this summer but I am still really in love with my copics and stamping. I actually have not done a scrapbook page in months!! The box is an altered project that I've been wanting to try for a while and I love how it came out so I'll be doing more of those soon however with school starting in less than a month I have a feeling that I'm not gonna be blogging much :( so sorry if I don't keep up, just go on without me and I'll pop in when I can.

I must confess.....
I'm very sorry I have been missing from the blog. I have also been missing from scrapbooking for the most part. Someone, and we won't mention names (RENEE!!) introduced me to farming on facebook. BIG MISTAKE. I now have another hobby (much cheaper I'll admit) but alot of fun. Farming combined with going away every weekend has left my scrapping time very limited.....yup, no time for housework either! I'm posting this as I sit outside my baby sister's house (not home again!!)
I am getting back into scrapbooking thanks in part to my husband putting an air conditioner in my new scrapbook room.
I'm challenging myself to create something this week and post it. No requirements, nothing out of the ordinary, just a creation and posting it.
Anyone with me?
Diana - how are you and the kids
Natasha - how are things going with you?
Miss Renee - how's the farm??
Ok....off to visit with family - Mistie is home for the weekend with the baby and I need to get out to Mom's to see them.

Summer Time Challenge !!!! Make a flower using a new technique
Hello everyone, I truly think Summer Time has caught us all! Wendy and I spent a couple of weekends together scrapbooking and shopping and just having fun. When she left I actually let her borrow several magazines on our crafty hobby to take on her ride back to PA. After many hours of reading on her trip home she has challenged me to try a new technique from one of my many other magazines. So I am going to challenge the rest of you with the same thing! Make a Flower using a new technique!
Stress free summer... I have a really hard time spending my summer in the basement with my crafting toys... saying that... Just don't want our group to fall by the wayside. So post please... even if it is about something else happening in your crafty life.

Natasha - Thank you!
Natasha, I just wanted to post a thank you here for the beautiful card. I cannot begin to express to you how it made me feel. Everything has been such a mess with the lead situation. Kenzie has been more drama than usual. She is really having a hard time being away from her home. So your card totally brightened my day. You don't know how much I needed that, thank you! :) :)

What I have learned this weekend.......
What I have learned this weekend:
1. Miss Renee is a hoot to spend time with
2. JoAnn's really does shock you when it has 2 floors
3. I adore Archivers
4. Hobby Lobby really does exist
5. You can live on pizza all weekend
6. Lack of sleep does not affect how well you can farm on facebook instead of scrap.
Although we didn't get our challenge done, I would not have changed my weekend for anything in the world.

Little Scraps of Heaven Weekly Freebie and What's New
They just posted a 4th of July file over on Little Scraps of Heaven and I must say it's a MUST HAVE. I can't wait to get it once I get home!! The weekly freebie goes right with it!
Having Issues
Good Morning ladies.
I think I am going to have to take a break from here for a while. I have gotten some difficult news over the past few days. Long story short my son has lead poisioning (and believe my daughter will too) and we have had to leave our home. Kids and I are staying at my aunt's house and my DH has to stay home with our dog. We found this out from a screening at his 2 year apt. Renee, I will follow through for you. I have to just get it together. I just don't know what I will be able to do from here. Kills me especially since I just got my beautiful scrapbook room set up.
So I will be checking in and leaving comments though. If I can participate I will but not being home I am trying to live out of suitcases so I only have the minimal things I need.
So keep up my mojo for when I can come back. :)

This isn't the best picture, but here's what I made. I made it as a gift for my friend's daughter's 3rd birthday. Her other daughter turns 1 next week, so I will be making another one.
Oh oh oh....I have a wonderful idea for a challenge!!
I'm so excited!! I thought of something today listening to what has been posted to this week's challenge. I can't wait to post it.....
I'll be ready ahead of time!!

New Challenge for week of 6-6
Ok, I got a little nervous about this. I had no idea what to do and had not even thought of this. So on my way to work an idea came to me. How about a little care package we can exchange with each other. Just a little something to let the other know they are thinking of you. Maybe a few things they could use, ie a blank card (I need to get away from the cards, I know! ;)) some embelishments, paper, a cuttlebug folder, a album to alter. In organizing my room I know I have some things I can share, I don't have to buy anything. But I can let my parter have fun with something new.
To make it fair I put our names on a piece of paper and asked my boss randomly pick our teams.
Renee it is you and I and Wendy and Natasha.
Hope this sounds ok. Guess we can have a extra week to get stuff together and mail it out.

Diana.....this is your week
Ok Diana, with that new scrap area it's time for you to issue a challenge!!
Looking forward to it!
Looking forward to it!
Here is what I worked on this weekend......
My girlfriend is getting married in September and somehow I managed to get roped into helping. She insists she is not crafty but has wonderful ideas and knows if she comes to my house, we make her idea happen. Her wedding colors are Black, White and deep deep purple (almost black). They are rather pretty together. These are some of the things we made for her.
The glasses she had seen in Wegman's but they didn't have her initial so she took pics and asked if they could be made.
I finally had an opportunity to kiss cut vinyl. I must say, there is a BIG difference in using Cricut Vinyl and using Wall Pops. The cricut vinyl went on so much easier!!
We also made matching candle holders. These will be partially filled with black fish stones and votive candals go in the centers. She saw this at the Hallmark store and again, another picture for me.
And then she decided that she needed a LARGE candle holder that matched the bride and groom glasses (the only ones with the H's on them)
We also made tags for her memorial flowers
Then we also designed and printed her invitations and response cards. This was an issue because I couldn't get word to work right to keep it all centered and positioned.
And I cut 100 6 x 6 black netting squares for some of the table decorations (still need to do 150 more)
Ok, I think that's what we finished this weekend. I still need to make the card box, find table clothes and a few other odds and ends and she should be ready.
Things I've learned this weekend:
1. Pigment ink is ALOT different than a water based ink
2. To print sideways on your printer use landscape (not that I don't work with word every day at work and have for the last 17 years at work!!)
3. Look through the entire box of invitations BEFORE you start just making your own response cards
4. Run the other direction if your good friend asks if you would mind making a couple small things for their wedding!!
