I thought I was going to have to do this after kids went to bed. Working on a new laptop and was not sure how everything was going to work. But I was able to figure everything out and it went much easier than I thought it would.
I used all SU paper except the pattern paper is from a pack from Quick Quotes, stars are Plantin Schoolbook, inked and embossed with swiss dots, Font is Cuttin Up. Now we have a picture of me. Not in my best moment, but it is a picture. :) I still have to get one for the site.
Yeah, now I can go open my envelope! I have been dying to open it since it got here! :)
ReplyDeleteDiana Your pages are precious! I love them!
ReplyDeleteI would not have thought to "emboss" the stars. Cute idea... love the colors too!
Wendy is making me stretch with colors. I have never used browns, that I can remember, in the girls books. Guess that is about to change also!
Girls I have gotten a lot of positive feedback on our blog. All my scrapper girlfriends love the idea of the blog to share our ideas. Maybe they will come share their ideas also!
I love it!!! Very precious =]
ReplyDeleteThanks girls. The reason I embossed the stars because on one of the toys it had dots and it made me think of the swiss dots folder right away.
ReplyDeleteRenee, I love how Wendy is challenging us with new colors. I have always loved the look of pink and brown and I think I want to try more of those colors in future layouts.
I absolutely love it!! I love how we all pulled something different from the toy. That's why I said, there was no right or wrong, it was just for inspiration!!
